Tapad Opens New Nordic Hub In Oslo, Will Add Engineers

Tapad, a provider of cross-device marketing technology, on Wednesday said it’s opening a hub in the Nordic region on Jan. 16. The new hub will be located in Oslo, Norway, and will be home to a global engineering team. The company also has plans to hire 20 new engineering positions for the Oslo office.

Jeff Olchovy, a senior Tapad developer, will spearhead the company's Nordic engineering presence. Collaborating with the company's New York-based developers, Tapad's Oslo-based engineers will work on the Tapad Device Graph, among other products.

In 2016, Tapad launched an entrepreneurial mentorship initiative called the Propeller Program which selected five Norwegian startups to share Tapad's New York-based workspace, receive C-level guidance, and help establish a U.S. presence.

Tapad has 15 offices in six countries with more than 200 employees worldwide. The company was acquired by the Telenor Group in early 2016 for $360 million.
