Interpublic’s McCann New York has been
selected by HomeGoods, a division of off-price retailer TJX Companies, as its new U.S. creative advertising agency. The appointment is effective immediately. The incumbent was MDC Partners’
KBS.
HomeGoods has nearly 600 stores across the U.S. and offers a selection of top brands and home fashions from around the world.
“McCann brings proven strategic and
integrated-marketing expertise that will help us build a strong communications platform to deliver innovative, creative work that will resonate with our customers and help us stand apart in the
marketplace,” stated Emily Trent, vice president, marketing director, HomeGoods.
Devika Bulchandani, managing director, McCann New York, added: “We are thrilled and honored
to be awarded creative and strategic responsibilities for HomeGoods. We look forward to working with them to help build their brand and connect with their customers in new ways.”
The
selection follows a separate review by TJX earlier in the year that awarded media buying and
planning duties to WPP’s Mindshare.
