Less than two months after consolidating its creative account with Gallegos United, the California Milk
Processor Board (CMPB) has decided to place its entire media-planning and buying assignment with Milner Butcher Media Group (MBMG).
For the last two years, MBMG has managed the multicultural
portion of the account. CMPB general market media planning and buying was previously handled by Omnicom’s PHD.
“The combination of MBMG in partnership with our creative agency
partner, Gallegos United, is the perfect fit for our needs now and in the future,” stated Stephen James, executive director, CMPB. “MBMG’s prowess in both strategy and buying across
California markets and diverse audiences is exactly what we’re looking for in our media agency.”

Zach Rosenberg, president, MBMG added: “We have been working with this iconic
brand since 2016, managing their multicultural media. This expanded role is a testament to the work we are doing for them.”
The consolidated CMPB assignment is the latest in a string of
wins for MBMG. The agency also recently won the Postmates media account and buying duties for Nokia Health (working closely with agency partners TBD and Mediasmith). The agency also recently added
luxury hospitality company Inspirato to its client roster.
CMPB spent an estimated $4.4 million on measured media in 2016 according to Kantar Media.
