
Digital commerce agency Astound Commerce is merging with
Fluid, a digital customer experience and software solutions company. Terms were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, both entities will keep their names. Fluid will now run under the Astound
Commerce North America umbrella.
Through the merger the combined entity adds a presence in New York. It also has operations in San Francisco, London, Munich, Hamburg, Dubai, and Toronto. The
combined company employs nearly 800 people.
Igor Gorin will lead the U.S. operations of the company as CEO.
The two shops have worked together for several years but decided to
make it official by formally integrating the two teams.
"As our customers require more support across every aspect of their digital commerce offerings, this fully integrated model
prepares us for the future," stated Gorin.
Both shops are official Salesforce partners which enable them to develop experiences using that company's platform.
