Standard Time + Blackrose = Standard Black

Creative agencies Standard Time (based in Los Angeles) and Blackrose (New York) have merged to form Standard Black.

The combined agency recently launched its first campaign for fashion brand James Harden xY3. Harden is an NBA standout now playing for the Houston Rockets.

The agency will also be launching a new campaign for CVS Health shortly. Both agencies brought CVS Health to the combined entity in a jointly pitched effort. In addition to the James Harden xY3 label, Blackrose works with various brands, including Amazon Fashion, Nike, Theory, Todd Snyder and Mack Weldon.

“The new entity with centers of excellence on both coasts will leverage Blackrose’s design capability with Standard Time’s content and strategic prowess,” stated Michael Sharp, Standard Time president/CEO.

Sharp will serve as CEO at Standard Black. Blackrose founders Eric Lobb and Jared Tomlinson will serve as executive creative directors.

Lobb and Tomlinson stated: “Our customers will now have access to an elevated creative design and art direction capability and a broader range of production and content services on both coasts.”
