The affinity between “Roseanne” and Donald Trump is dominating the news cycle today, but the truth is that many Americans of all political affiliations feel underrepresented on television, according to results of a nationwide poll released by Morning Consult.

Does the headline over the chart accurately reflect the question asked? If so, then this survey has NOTHING -- NOTHING AT ALL -- to do with groups feeling "underrepresented" as claimed in the article next.
For example, people in a group "JKL" might feel that even though they are already overrepresented, they want even more dominance. Conversely, "JKL" people might feel that there should be less representation of "MNO" people even though they are all but invisible already ... they just want them gone entirely.
Wanting your group to have ever greater visibility and another group to have less visibility is not closely coupled to wanting some kind of "correct" representation of both.
And everybody is assuming what will happen in this series before they see it. ANd how about when the ramifications occur from this past year or so take place and the Connors feel the wallop ? The media is hyping the media for ratings.
