Portable storage and moving provider PODS is appointing KBS as its AOR to work across the company’s portfolio, including both the residential and commercial sides of their business, as well as expand the brand’s marketing presence.
The assignment includes strategy and creative for all channels as well as front-end development of a new web application.
This partnership grew organically after KBS successfully completed several projects across PODS’ different business units. “KBS is exactly the type of smart and strategic-minded partner we need during this pivotal time of growth for the PODS brand,” stated David Redmond, senior vice president, Residential, PODS. “
First up, the MDC Partners-owned agency will be leading a strategic and creative overhaul of the brand with the first work set to debut at the end of April. Previously PODS has relied largely on social media and Facebook to drive awareness and traffic to its services. It is unclear whether the media strategy under KBS will utilize different channels or opportunities. The brand's advertising budget was $10.47 million in 2017, up from $7.40 million in 2016, according to Kantar Media.
