Agency Vet Steinhour Named Chairman VCU Brandcenter Board

After serving on the Board for 13 years, agency veteran Jeff Steinhour has been appointed chairman of the graduate program VCU Brandcenter at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He succeeds John Adams, current chairman emeritus of the Martin Agency, who has served as the Brandcenter’s chairman since 2015.

Steinhour will work closely with Interim Director, Brad Armstrong, to lead the advisory board as they tackle initiatives around recruiting, fundraising and program enhancement. Brandcenter’s advisory board is made up of notable industry names including: FCB global chief creative officer Susan Credle; NBA CMO Pam El; Founder and CEO of co:collective Ty Montague; and Publicis global CCO, Nick Law.

Steinhour, managing partner and CEO of Markham & Stein, and former founding partner and longtime global vice-chairman of CP+B, is credited with developing award-winning campaigns for clients including AT&T, Domino’s, Coke Zero, Nike, ConAgra, Mercedes-Benz, and numerous others.
