Microsoft, Xero And Stripe Team Up To Offer Outlook Payment

Consumers will be able to pay invoices through Microsoft Outlook, using a service provided by the payment platform Xero.

The service will be rolled out to a small number of Outlook users within the next few weeks, relying on the payment service Stripe.

The integration between Xero, Stripe and Microsoft Pay is designed to help “small businesses get paid faster so that they can better manage their cash flow,” states Craig Walker, chief technology officer for Xero.

The firm claims that payments made in Outlook can be matched to the right account code in Xero, and the invoice marked as paid.
