OMD Awarded U.S. Media Assignment For Beiersdorf

OMD has recaptured the U.S. media planning and buying account for Beiersdorf after a review.

The incumbent was Carat, which won the business in 2010. OMD had handled it prior to that.

Based in Germany, the company’s brands include Nivea and Aquaphor.

The firm spent about $53 million on measure media in the U.S. last year according to Kantar Media.

Adweek, which broke the news earlier today quoted a Beiersdorf spokesperson who confirmed the award.
