Publicis Communications is acquiring Brazilian agency One Digital, which will be aligned with the Groupe's creative hub network in the country alongside Publicis Brazil, DPZ&T, Talent Marcel, Leo Burnett Tailor Made, and other agencies.
Founded in 2003, the analytical and creative agency staffs 64 employees and works with Brazilian and international brands, including Ágora (investments), American Express, Autoline (financial services), BitBlue (Cryptocurrency), Bradesco (Bank), Next (Online Bank), Norsk Hydro Brasil (Aluminium Production) and ShopFacil.com (e-commerce).
Founder-CEO Michelle Matsumoto will remain CEO of the agency, reporting to Justin Billingsley, Global COO of Publicis Communications.
The acquired agency’s data capabilities "strengthen our integrated solutions offering in a world where technology is increasingly used to bring people closer together," stated Billingsley.
For its part, One Digital sought the scale and resources offered by the holding company.
