The digital marketing technology company Amobee has completed its acquisition of Videology's assets, the advanced TV and video advertising software firm.
Videology’s technology platform, intellectual property and other assets are now part of Amobee’s platform, building out the company’s connected TV and video business.
Videology filed for bankruptcy in May, with Amobee named as the “stalking-horse” bidder. Amobee won its bid to buy Videology’s assets in July.
In conjunction with the closing, Scott Ferber, the founde-CEO of Videology, has joined Amobee as Chief Innovation Officer.
In addition, the company named Domenic Venuto, previously GM of IBM’s Watson Advertising division, as COO. Amobee also named Erica Golden as Chief People Officer. Previously, she headed global talent development at Apple.
