Wunderman Adds Another Commerce Shop: 2Sales International

WPP’s digital agency Wunderman has acquired ecommerce consulting agency 2Sales. It’s the holding company’s first acquisition since Mark Read took over as CEO earlier in the week and the second commerce-related M&A deal for Wunderman in the last month.

In August the agency, which has been headed by Read for the last three years, acquired Chicago-based Gorrilla Group. Both Gorrilla and Luxembourg-based 2Sales are being aligned with Wunderman’s growing commerce unit Wunderman Commerce, which also includes Salmon, Possible Commerce and Marketplace Ignition.

2Sales, with 66 staffers, bills itself as a “one-stop Amazon solution”  that deploys automated processes to optimize content generation, sales and promotions across eight international Amazon platforms.

Clients include Acco, Columbia, Fiskars and SC Johnson.

The acquisition was made in part due to 2Sales focus on Europe and Amazon’s growing market share in the region.
