Sage Communications Acquires Virtual Marketing

PR firm Sage Communications is acquiring Virtual Marketing to bolster its service capabilities in traditional marketing, analytics and research. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2007, Virtual Marketing provides marketing and advertising support to clients specializing in technology and professional services.

This targeted concentration is similar to Sage's, so the combined partnership will now offer both PR and marketing solutions to companies such as Amazon Web Services, Dell EMC, ATT Global Public Sector, Splunk, Immix Group, Riverbed and GTSI.

Under the agreement, Virtual Marketing will move into Sage's office and rebrand as a division of Sage Communications.

The agency will continue to operate under the leadership of founder and president, Lou Anne Brossman. Her team of Stephanie Geiger, vice president of operations, and Lindsay Robb, marketing coordinator, will also join the Sage Communications team.

"The fusion of both organizations unites our mutual drive for innovation, entrepreneurialism, analytics and market leadership," says Brossman. She adds it will offer clients "a more comprehensive suite of services that complement the work we are already doing.”
