The digital video company ATTN: has named Mike Hadgis chief business officer, a new role for the company that will oversee all business and revenue operations for the company.

Hadgis was most recently at Vox Media, where he was senior vice president, revenue and partnerships.

The company also says Taryn Crouthers, currently head of brand partnerships, will become COO.

ATTN:’s founders Matthew Segal and Jarrett Moreno stated they hired Hadgis with the hope his “relationships and expertise can take our business to the next level.”

ATTN: was founded in 2014 with the goal of creating a news and social justice video brand for younger consumers. The company’s videos are distributed on social channels, but it also creates content for streaming platforms like HBO and Apple Music.

The company produces branded content for advertisers, leveraging its expertise with social video to create content that will see organic reach on those platforms.

The hiring of Hadgis suggests ATTN: intends to expand its advertising business.
