Virgin Voyages is expanding offerings of its “Mega RockStar” suites on its first ship, the Scarlet Lady, and has enlisted Spice Girls’ Geri Horner to promote the offering.

In the 60-second video, Horner test-drives the Virgin Voyages “Gorgeous Suite” as a favor to her longtime friend, Branson. The footage chronicles her full RockStar experience, as she is seen spinning records, reading Branson’s book, rocking out with a guitar, indulging in champagne and partying the night away.

Expanded amenities for the suites include a dedicated RockStar Agent to tend to each customer’s needs while on board, a dedicated hair and makeup crew available upon request, complimentary laundry service, the option to curate bespoke activities in any port, complimentary access to Redemption Spa’s Thermal Suite and all-inclusive access to premium drinks in all bars and eateries onboard, plus a free personalized bottomless in-room bar. 

Branson says he loves the idea of the RockStar suites. 

“They celebrate Virgin’s musical heritage and how I got my start in the music industry,” Branson states. “Geri and the Spice Girls were a wonderful part of that, so I can’t imagine anyone better suited to give our RockStar Suites a whirl. Geri certainly looked like she had a great time!"

There are 78 RockStar Suites designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio aboard the Scarlet Lady, including 15 Mega RockStar Suites. Those feature a Peek-A-View outdoor shower and were inspired by mega yachts and rock icons like Grace Jones, according to the company.

Virgin Voyages' inaugural season is scheduled for 2020.
