Velosio Acquires Synergy Business Solutions In Bid To Extend Microsoft Footprint

Velosio, a technology services firm, has acquired Synergy Business Solutions, a company that specializes in business applications for the services industry. Terms were not disclosed.

Synergy helps clients with their project-based billing requirements, using Microsoft business applications.

The goal is to help project-based businesses achieve faster delivery of business solutions and cloud technologies, states Jeff Geisler, CEO of Velosio.

The purchase will strengthen Velosio’s Microsoft Dynamics footprint in the northwestern United States, the company says. And it will enhance Velosio’s delivery capabilities with the addition of more than 20 experienced technical and delivery personnel, it adds.

As for Synergy, the sale will “provide the opportunity for our employees to reach new levels of success,” states Donna Hurst, president and CEO of Synergy.

Velosio presumably has other acquisitions in mind. One of its key goals is to become “a preferred acquirer of other Microsoft partners, such as Synergy,” Geisler adds.

Velosio recently introduced a product called Connected Intelligence, an enhancement for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales.

Connected Intelligence pulls data from emails, events, and documents across the organization, using AI to add engagement data to Dynamics 365, the company says.

In addition, the solution enhances the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales users. Velosio supports the Microsoft Dynamics portfolio, Office 365 family and Azure services, Velosio says.
