UM, part of IPG Mediabrands, has named Anthony Plant global president of J3, the dedicated unit that services the media agency’s largest client, Johnson & Johnson.
Plant will also oversee J3 Studios, the J3 arm of UM's content-creation division, UM Studios, which produced the documentary film, "5B," commissioned by J&J. The film won a Grand Prix award at this year's Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
Plant succeeds Eileen Kiernan, who was recently elevated to global CEO at UM.
Previously, Plant oversaw Mediabrands operations in Japan as CEO. Earlier, he served at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was director of P&G Brands/Greater China.
