IMA Attempts To Make Accounting Interesting

The new campaign by the Institute of Management Accountants attempts to make the dull topic of accounting education enjoyable.

The campaign, developed with The Gate | New York, utilizes television, print, digital, social media and search-engine marketing, including six TV spots. It emphasizes that accounting and finance professionals who earn their IMA certification are better positioned to advance their careers.

One spot shows a group of accountants shrinking under a table because they are unsure of their opinions, due to their lack of credentials. Another ad shows a frustrating woman banging her head against the table as she is handed another boring task.

The TV spots are running during late-night programming, on programmatic and connected TV platforms.
