Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is acquiring London-based AllofUs as the company follows in the footsteps of consultancy rivals Accenture and IBM by bolstering its capabilities in design and digital
services.
Founded in 2003, the London-based AllofUs works with clients, including Microsoft, Google, and Facebook, to incubate and transform new products and businesses.
“Our
capabilities in design thinking, coupled with BCG’s strength in business strategy, ensure that we are bringing to market an offering that can deliver value and impact for our clients at the
highest level,” explains Phil Gerrard, founding partner/CEO, AllofUs.
Under the deal, the AllofUs team will become part of BCG Platinion, which is an integrated part of DigitalBCG which
offers technology capabilities around design, engineering, architecture, and data and analytics, among other areas. AllofUs founders Phil Gerrard and Orlando Mathias will join Platinion’s
leadership group.
“We continue to expand our digital service offerings to deliver clients’ ambitious transformation and growth agendas,” says Karalee Close, global
leader, BCG’s Technology Advantage practice.
BCG’s acquisition of AllofUs follows the July 2017 acquisition of MAYA, a digital design and innovation company based in
Pittsburgh.
