Terminus, the provider of an account-based marketing (ABM) platform, has named Tim Kopp as its chief executive officer and chairman.
Kopp, a SaaS veteran, will be tasked with continuing to scale the company to help B2B marketing and sales teams deploy ABM strategies.
Terminus co-founder and former CEO, Eric Spett, will continue to his involvement with the company a member of the board.
Kopp has served as CMO of ExactTarget through that firms’ IPO and its $2.7 billion acquisition by Salesforce in 2013.
Kopp has also worked at Coca-Cola, and is an active early-stage investor at Hyde Park Venture Partners.
“Marketing and business are at a crossroads. We’re shifting to a new frontier of automation that prioritizes more effective account targeting, engagement, and acquisition,” Kopp states.
