6sense, the provider of account-based orchestration platform for B2B marketers, has received $40 million in Series C funding from Insight Partners, the company announced on Wednesday. That brings its total financing to date to $105 million.
The funding will drive growth in 2010 as the company builds on recent product releases such as Dynamic Display Advertising, Account Based Retargeting, Value Metrics, Sales Alerts, and External Media Campaign Analytics.
6sense cites research showing that 68% of B2B buying research is conducted anonymously, meaning that mass emails and cold calls are ineffective.
The service provided by 6sense pulls in intent signals from every channel, including the dark funnel and false form fills to engage active buyers, it says. This helps B2B brands to unite revenue teams on a single platform fueled by AI orchestration, the company claims.
The new funding will enable 6sense to further invest in AI-driven orchestration capabilities to help companies of all sizes build and scale account based programs, uncover new opportunities, and efficiently create pipeline and revenue,” states 6sense CEO Jason Zintak.
For its part, Insight Partners was ““blown away by the data-focused sophistication of 6sense’s technology and firmly believe it is the best solution for B2B companies who need to scale their go-to-market efficiency and grow revenue,” states Jeff Lieberman, managing director at Insight Partners.
6sense recently signed on such new customers as Thomson Reuters, Clari, PTC and Phenom People.
