CloudNine, a firm that serves law firms, government agencies and corporations, has launched a data extraction service that collects data from Office 365 (O365) email custodians  Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage files.

The new tool, CloudNine Collection Manager, connects to O365 and OneDrive data sources, including documents linked from email messages for use in discovery.

Users can browse and filter by data, and extract data in such formats as PSTs or Zip files.

The extracted files can be sent to target hard drives, jump drives, network drives or case assessment products such as CloudNine Explore, the company adds. 

Collection Manager is integrated with CloudNine’s sister product: Explore. Users can output data from Collection Manager directly into Explore.
