Movable Ink Expands Into Branded Mobile App Messaging

Movable Ink has extended its visual experience platform to mobile apps.

The new capability, Movable Ink for Mobile, supports branded mobile app messages featuring personalized visualized creative.

Until now, mobile marketers have had insufficient resources for sending compelling personalized creative with every push notification, the company contends.

In general, Movable Ink helps brands automate the production of personalized marketing creative based on behavior across email and websites, CRM (name, loyalty, account history), contextual (location, device, weather), the company says.

According to the company, Movable Ink for Mobile provides:

  • Automated visual content generation or push and in-app messaging
  • Data-activated creative based on pricing and inventory, personalized offers, and loyalty reward balances from API, web, CSV, CRM and other factors. 
  • Contextual content based on location, weather, time and device
  • Performance reporting

At its Think Summit last year, Movable Ink announced partnerships with mobile platform providers Airship, Braze, and Upland Localytics, and these have helped facilitate the firm’s expansion into mobile.
