ANA Publishes Guide To Legal Challenges Facing Marketers During Pandemic

In response to the potential legal challenges facing marketers during the pandemic, the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) is offering a legal guide.

The guide, “The Impact of COVID-19 on Brand Advertising and Marketing,” was prepared by the association’s general counsel and strategic law partner, Reed Smith, and covers topics such as:

  • Contractual Issues

  • Sponsorship and Events

  • Endorsements

  • Commercial Production

  • Promotions

  • Agency Contracts

  • advertisement


    Media Buys

  • Digital

  • Anti-Gouging Laws

  • Advertising Content

ANA CEO Bob Liodice said the 31-page guide is not intended to provide formal legal device, and said marketers should consult their own legal counsel before embarking on explicit actions in response to the crisis.
