Wi-Fi Calling Up 101%, Voice Calls 36%: Study

Consumers at home due to COVID-19 continue to push the boundaries of wireless service, according to the latest tally by AT&T.

Wi-Wi calling minutes were up 101% yesterday compared to an average Wednesday.

Consumer home voice calling minutes Wednesday increased 51% compared to an average Wednesday.

Wireless voice minutes increased 36% yesterday from a typical Wednesday.

AT&T’s overall core network traffic, including home broadband, business and wireless usage, increased 26% compared to a similar day at the end of February.
