As consumers continue to hunker down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are leaning heavily on communication technology.
The latest network tracking from AT&T shows a 96% increase in Wi-Fi calling minutes yesterday compared to an average Wednesday.
Other areas of communication were up as well.
Consumer home voice calling minutes increased 40% from an average Wednesday and wireless voice minutes increased 32%.
Overall network traffic, including business, home broadband and wireless usage, increase 19% compared to a similar day at the end of February.
