The average number of miles traveled daily was 13.4 for the week beginning May 11. While that's down 26% from the most recent high (18.0 miles daily for teh week beginning March 2), it's up 38% since it bottomed out the week of April 6 (an average of 9.7 miles daily).
This is really frightening since it is clear that it is too soon to go out...

Would be interesting to see miles weighted with Household Income to see how much purchasing power is spending time in the car now vs. before covid.
