Fastbase Acquires LeadScoreApp, B2B Tracking, Email Automation Firm

Fastbase Inc., a B2B web and database analytics company, has acquired LeadScoreApp (aka AutoTarget), a tech company based in Denmark, Fastbase announced on Monday. Terms were not disclosed.

"With LeadScoreApp's visitor tracking focused on scoring leads and email automation we felt the technology would complement and enhance what we are currently doing,” states Kevin Rodgers, CEO of Fastbase

Fastbase claims it is stepping into the gap caused by Google’s decommissioning of two Google Analytics fields in February.

LeadScoreApp CEO, Brian Kristensen will serve as product manager of the merged company, and will be tasked with further developing Fastbase WebLeads, a lead-tracking product that also features scoring and notification of sales teams.

The merger will enable  LeadScoreApp to “go worldwide with our tracking and lead scoring tool and enable sales teams around the world to automatically target automatically target ‘hot’ leads,” Kristensen states.

Fastbase hopes to launch new products that “draw from the synergy created by this acquisition,” towards the end of this year, Rodgers adds.

In July, Fastbase debuted Similar Leads, a product designed to provide leads based on country, region, industry category, domain, keyword search and other criteria.

Rodgers, a former Google executive, was named CEO of Fastbase in March, replacing founder Rasmus Refer.
