Google Rolls Out New Gmail For G Suite Users

Google is now in the process of rolling out its new integrated Gmail for G Suite users.

The new Gmail integrates “the core elements of work,” and facilitates collaboration, the company claims in a video posted on YouTube.

“Now you can access Chat, Meet, Documents, Tasks and more right from Gmail across your devices,” the video says.

In addition, teams can create a space to chat, access files, edit shared documents and keep track of projects with a shared-task list. They can also set up video meetings in the room without having to go through the Calendar.

When using search, teams can see results from email and chat messages.

9to5 Google reports that the new Gmail rollout covers Android and the Web. Full availability is coming in two weeks, it adds.
