Campaign Monitor has updated its email marketing platform with several additions, including a feature that allows brands to add a survey when a person unsubscribes.
That solution, Unsubscribe Survey, is designed to reveal the reasons that people leave.
The firm reports that an average of 0.15% of its customers’ subscribers unsubscribe each month.
“This is an expected behavior, but can leave marketers feeling helpless to this change,” states Kalyn New, director of product marketing at Campaign Monitor.
Also being offered is a capability called Campaign Tags, allowing marketing teams to organize, search and report on their email campaigns.
This tagging feature allows one user, Universal Media Co., to “group and categorize emails efficiently—whether by brand, niche, or email purpose,” states Alex Dalland, digital producer at Universal Media Co.
In addition, Campaign Monitor has introduced Layout Templates, a selection of new email templates that can be used with a drag-and-drop builder. These come with placeholder text that suggests best practice guidelines for crafting effective emails.
Campaign Monitor is a CM Group brand focused on email marketing software. It claims to have roughly 250,000 users worldwide.
