CBS All Access To Be Rebranded As Paramount+

ViacomCBS' premium streaming platform, CBS All Access, will be rebranded with a new name -- Paramount+, to be launched in early 2021.

The rebranding of the platform will come with new original series content from many ViacomCBS brands including CBS, BET,
MTV and Paramount.

At launch, Paramount+ will have five new original series including "The Offer," a limited-event series about the making of "The Godfather" and "Lioness," a spy drama that follows a young Marine recruited to befriend the daughter of a terrorist to bring the organization down.

In addition, there will be a new version of longtime MTV series "Behind the Music." From CBS, "The Real Criminal Minds" is a true crime docuseries based on that network’s TV series. BET is reviving one of its long-time series "The Game."

ViacomCBS said for the first quarter, all streaming and digital video revenue for all platforms (which include Pluto TV) grew 51% to $471 million.

Since the start of this year -- an eight-and-a-half-month period -- iSpot.tv estimates CBS All Access has spent $10 million in national/regional TV advertising.
