Infiniti Enlists Live Nation, Aloe Blacc For Vehicle Intro

Infiniti has partnered with Live Nation and retro soul singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc to assist in the global introduction of the QX55 crossover.

The show will be streamed worldwide on YouTube and Inifiniti’s social media channels from the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles at 5:55 PST on Nov. 17.  The unveiling would have taken place during Los Angeles auto show media preview days, had the event not been postponed to May 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

It will be produced by Live Nation and will include a Q&A session with Blacc. According to Live Nation’s proprietary research, nearly 9 in 10 livestream concert viewers say the experience is more memorable when the artist can talk about their inspiration and motivation behind their music.

Blacc’s music is the “perfect accompaniment to the bold Infiniti QX55 not only for his gripping sincerity but also because his signature sound transcends conventional definitions to reach to the heart of American music,” per Infiniti.

The partnership with Blacc allows the brand to reach a new group of customers, said Phil York, general manager of marketing for Infiniti.

“We’re connecting with our customers around the world to deliver luxury and entertainment in new ways we’ve never considered before,” York said in a release.

In September, Infiniti unveiled the QX60 Monograph exterior design study for an upcoming SUV to be revealed next year. That livestream transported viewers to Infiniti’s new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan as well as to their design studio. It has been viewed more than 25,000 times on Infiniti’s YouTube channel.
