Absolutdata, a provider of AI-powered data science tools, has been acquired by InfoGain, a  ChrysCapital portfolio company, the firms announced on Thursday. Terms were not disclosed. 

With this purchase, Infogain will add Absolutdata’s NAVIK AI SaaS platform to its portfolio.

The move follows Infogain’s earlier acquisitions of Silicus Technologies and Revel Consulting. 

“Digital transformation was underway before the pandemic, but COVID-19 accelerated it as global enterprises leverage AI and analytics on advanced platforms to manage change and drive growth,” states Anil Kaul, Absolutdata’s CEO and co-founder. 

In addition to creating “career growth possibilities for our employees,” the combined company will develop new solution for the clients of both firms, Kaul adds. 

For its part, Infogain will increase its analytics customer base and offer “data estate, and cloud transformation services to Absolutdata customers,” states Ayan Mukerji, COO, Infogain. 

The merged capabilities can presumably fuel email and other types of marketing campaigns.
