Marketing tool provider Moore has acquired Amergent, a donor management and direct marketing software company that serves nonprofits. Terms were not disclosed.
Amergent uses analytics to drive email and direct mail fundraising campaigns and online giving.
The firm helps clients identify where they should be “making an investment and predicting their return on that investment,” states Gretchen Littlefield, chief executive officer at Moore.
Moore, which has 3,000 employees in 37 companies, will offer Amergent products and services to existing clients. And Amergent will continue to operate under its brand name.
Jack Doyle will continue as chief executive officer of Amergent, and will report to Littlefield. And Rick Hohman will continue as chief operating officer.
