Bold Commerce Raises $27 Million In Series B Funding

Ecommerce technology company Bold Commerce has raised $27 million in Series B funding, bringing total financing to $44 million.

The round was led by OMERS Ventures, with participation from current investors Whitecap Venture Partners and Round 13 Capital.

OMERS Venture partner Laura Lenz will join the Bold Commerce board of directors.

The funding will allow Bold Commerce to expand its ability to turn any point in the customer journey into a shoppable moment.

“Our goal is to enable retailers and brands to convert shoppers at their highest point of interest, and increasingly that goes beyond the online shopping cart or in-store sales terminal to include product pages, social channels, in store kiosks, connected IOT devices, voice commerce and more,” states Yvan Boisjoli, co-founder and CEO of the two year-old company.
