Free Branding Advice For A New Social Media Platform

It’s not often that I agree with the impeached former President, but I would double down on his statement this week that Twitter has done us all “a favor” by permanently banning @realDonaldTrump.

But just in case he would like to know my feelings about launching his own social media platform, I would say this to him: “I would like you to do us a favor, though, because our country has been through a lot.” Don’t.

Issue press releases if you want. Call in, or appear on Newsmax, OAN or other marginalized extremist news networks if you need to. But do NOT launch a new social media platform.

For a couple of reasons.

  1. We already have way too many of them, and I’m currently spending too much of my time declining requests from friends and sources inviting me to join Clubhouse. (As if.)

I’m enjoying the respite from your toxic narcissism and stochastic terrorism.

  3. The last thing your irrational gullible base needs is your hand in another one of their pockets.

But if you must launch one, can I ask that you exercise some transparency and brand it in a way that potential users will understand the value proposition explicitly and up front? And after noodling it around for a while, I’ve come up with the perfect brand name. You can call it Griffter, no disclaimer required. Logo provided.

You’re welcome!

Joe, why such a negative name for Trump's social media site? I think that a more subtle name for it would be "ME".

@Ed Papazian: Have you ever known me to be subtle? "Me" is good too. "Mine," would probably be more to the point.

Griffter.com is in use.  May I be so bold as to suggest Griffter.mob?

Trump certainly owns you....every bit as much as his blind followers....lol.

Whether hurling eggs or kneeling in reverence there is a basic commonality among the crowd surrounding the Trump altar....... he has you all by the collective balls.....
