Horizon Media has formed a new unit it is calling the “Human Intelligence Team” to probe human behavior and how brands can optimize insights about it to grow their businesses. It will be part of the agency’s research and intelligence division known as the WHY Group.
Horizon has named brand and business strategist Steve Grant to lead the new unit as senior vice president.
Previously Grant led Animal Spirits, his own branding and behavioral science consultancy. Earlier Grant led strategic consulting at Plan A and before that led the applied behavioral economics team at the Prudential Workplace Solutions Group, where he conducted research about customer engagement and conversion to influence behavior and consumer choices.
