Diamonds marketer De Beers has named Havas Media Group its global media agency of record, replacing incumbent Mindshare, which opted out of the pitch.
The account will be serviced out of Havas Media Group U.K. “luxury international unit,” which also handles clients such as Hermès, Credit Suisse and Fabergé.
The pitch consolidates media services at Havas for De Beers Jewelers, as well as De Beers Forevermark.
“The agency will partner with De Beers on its transformation journey, as it seeks to consolidate its communications in support of its jewelery houses, De Beers Jewelers and De Beers Forevermark, under the De Beers moniker,” the company said in a statement announcing the assignment. “Havas Media Group will also support De Beers’ ‘Building Forever’ sustainability commitment, leveraging its recently launched sustainability marketplace, which enables brands to invest in ethical and responsible media and reach audiences with an interest in sustainability.”advertisement
