WPP Taps Remling As New Chief People Officer

WPP has appointed Jennifer Remling to Global Chief People Officer. She is currently the Global Chief People Officer at GroupM, the company’s media arm. She will join WPP’s Executive Committee, reporting to WPP CEO Mark Read.

She will oversee the firm's workforce strategy including oversight of talent management and acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership development and learning.

Before joining GroupM in 2019, Remling was Global Chief Talent Officer at GroupM agency Essence and earlier spent nearly four years as the Global SVP of Talent at Interpublic’s R/GA.

Remling succeeds Jacqui Canney, who left the business in July to pursue a new opportunity.
