Samba TV Hires Amazon Exec Robert Coon As CRO

Samba TV -- the TV measurement company, which recently filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to become a public company -- has added to its growing executive team by hiring former Amazon executive Robert Coon as Chief Revenue Officer.

Coon was key in helping Amazon's connected TV advertising. He headed up the advertising sales teams, including leading grocery advertising sales at Amazon.

Previously at Amazon, he was head of hospitality advertising and global head of product sales. Before Amazon, Coon held senior positions at InterActiveCorp, Bankrate and Walt Disney.

Coon joins new hires over the last several months, including ex-Fox Corp executive Meredith Brace as Chief Marketing Officer; ex-Interpublic Group's Kris Magel as vice president, agency development; and SentinelOne executive Divya Ghatak, who is joining Samba TV's board of directors.
