Ram Offers Insider Program Focused On EVs

Stellantis has created Ram Revolution, an exclusive insider program that offers fans of the brand an inside look at the automaker’s electrification efforts.

The move comes as Stellantis prepares to launch the Ram 1500 battery electric vehicle (BEV) in 2024.

The RamRevolution.com hub also invites customers to provide input as Ram electric trucks are developed.

Stellantis is lagging behind its competitors. Ford Motor Co. is already taking orders for the F-150 Lightning, with production beginning in the spring. Chevrolet debuted its Silverado EV at CES and is also taking reservations for the vehicle, with production slated to begin early in 2023.

The insider program will provide consumers with unique content and a connection with the Ram brand and its electric-vehicle philosophy, says Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand chief executive officer – Stellantis.

“Our new Ram Revolution campaign will allow us to engage with consumers in a close and personal way, so we can gather meaningful feedback, understand their wants and needs and address their concerns," Koval says in a release.

As part of today’s Ram Revolution announcement, the brand showcased images of a concept vehicle that is being developed with customer input to inspire the design of the upcoming Ram 1500 BEV.

The automaker also launched a new video manifesto, “Spark,” created by TRG.

The 60-second spot does not include a single image of a pickup truck, although it does show roads crowded with indistinguishable vehicles.

“Revolutions begin with a spark -- the spark of an idea, a belief, a vision,” according to the spot’s narrator, as the camera pans over open farmland. “They begin with a call for something better, not just newer or bigger.”

The effort also includes the Ram Real Talk Tour, a series of yearlong conversations with consumers at events to help them to better understand what the next generation of Ram trucks and vans must do to meet their needs.

“The Ram brand’s promise is grounded in our unique ‘Built to Serve’ philosophy, and our new Ram Revolution campaign takes this pledge even further,” Koval says.
