Email teams should be on the lookout for improvements coming from the C-Suite, judging by the CxO Growth Survey 2.0, a global study conducted by Forbes and featured in a report Friday.
Of those polled, 80% of C-suite leaders (CxOs) expect revenue and earnings to increase during the next year, Forbes writes.
The magazine has identified several growth areas.
For one thing, 38% will focus on customer data privacy and protections over the next two years. Plus, more than 33% will enhance their cybersecurity to protect customer data.
In addition, 38% of CMOs will use data to drive their marketing strategies and firms during the same two-year period. And 24% of CxOs plan to boost their investment in big data and analytics by 16-30% over the next two years, Forbes continues.
Moreover, 30% of CMOs will focus on expanding their marketing team's skill set with new platforms for e-learning and external training. And 39% will focus on employees’ soft skills, and 34% will formalize mentoring and coaching programs.
At the same time, firms plan to hire more diverse staff and hire agencies that put a priority on diversity.
That focus on diversity will also be expanded in their content—31% plan to focus on
elevating diverse voices and perspectives in campaigns, Forbes says.
