Upland Software Adds Features To Its B2B Content Operations Platform

Upland Software has enhanced its content operations product, Kapost, with several new features, including an email approval function.

The goal of the Spring '22 release is to support “dynamic content creation processes, cross-functional collaboration, and revenue team enablement” for B2B teams, says Patrick Morrissey, senior vice president and general manager at Upland Software.

According to the company, the new features include:

  • Content Stages — These allow content creators to build and customize workflows into modular stages to meet their firm’s  process needs.
  • Managed Access on Content — New permissions and control features that enable Kapost admins to control who can view and edit individual pieces of content. This allows separate groups to work in Kapost while protecting proprietary content.
  • Idea Feedback Loop allows Kapost users to collaborate with non-licensed Idea submitters through Kapost email notifications.
  • Gallery and Studio Enhancements support bulk actions on tasks and deadlines, email approver attachments and expanded Gallery field tags and custom field display.

Upland Software says Kapost helps marketing teams realize production and process efficiencies, effectively manage resources, improve the buyer’s journey, and avoid content waste.
