New York-based digital marketing performance agency Labelium has acquired SEO specialist SmartKeyword for an undisclosed price.
The acquired agency is headquartered in Paris and has 160 clients and a team of 30.
Carlos Spallarosa, Chief Revenue Officer at Labelium said the deal would make the agency’s search offering more efficient. “This acquisition affords us a great opportunity to take the strategic and operational aspects of our SEO offerings in the Americas to new heights,” he said.
SmartKeyword was established in 2017 by Louis Chevant and Sébastien Machard. The founders will maintain their current positions and are tasked with extending their platform and expertise to the group's clients.
Labelium, now a group comprised of 12 agencies, operates in 16 countries with over 550 clients including LVMH, L'Oréal, Carrefour, Lexmark, Christie's, Tommy Hilfiger, Sephora and Lacoste.
