Firm Readies Enhanced HIPAA-Compliant Email Tool For Healthcare Providers

Paubox has enhanced its HIPAA-compliant email marketing tool and will make it available to healthcare providers in October. 

The product, Paubox Marketing, helps firms ensure that protected health information (PHI) contained in contact data is stored and transmitted securely, in line with HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 19996), the firm says.

The new version features an enhanced email builder, richer email performance data, and additional drip campaign capabilities, it adds.

The tool allows these entities to send personalized marketing emails that adheres to HIPAA rules. 

Previously, healthcare companies could not send targeted email messages without violating HIPAA regulations, the firm says.  

“Personalization is the key to effective email marketing,” says Hoala Greevy, founder and CEO of Paubox. 

Greevy adds, “Now, for the first time, Paubox Marketing enables digital marketers in healthcare to take advantage of that trend.”

Paubox research shows that only 24% of healthcare providers utilize email marketing.
