Barkley, an independent creative-idea company, acquired Smiths Agency, an independent Pittsburgh marketing company focused on food and beverage brands.
Smiths’ client roster includes
Premier Protein, NatureSweet Tomatoes, Spangler Candy, including the Dum-Dums brand, Amy’s Kitchenand Eggland's Best Inc.
The acquisition creates a combined team of more than 60 in the
mid-Atlantic region, targeting food and beverage brands. Smiths will transition to the Barkley brand to become part of one agency.
Co-Chief Creative Officers Lindsey Smith and Bronson Smith
will join the team.

This acquisition adds to Barkley’s current portfolio of
clients, which includes Justin's, Dairy Farmers of America, Riceland Foods, Inc., Community Coffee and Monster Energy.
