Software provider Tailwind has acquired Nectar 9, a paid advertising management platform, in its seventh acquisition. Terms were not disclosed.
Tailwind specializes in helping small businesses execute marketing campaigns via email, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and other platforms. It is backed by Pilot Growth Equity.
Nectar 9 helps brands of all sizes pursue customer acquisition and retention efforts across multiple marketing channels, the company says. In five years, the firm has “worked very closely with a small group of customers to create campaigns, says Sal Arora, chief data scientist and co-founder of Nectar 9.
"Small businesses often see making the jump from organic marketing to paid advertising as a daunting challenge,” says Daniel Maloney, CEO and co- founder of Tailwind. This often results in them delaying the shift.
