A company has been founded to help brands utilize Twilio’s customer engagement platform (CEP).
The new firm, Stitch, is a consultancy focused
exclusively on Twilio with funding from the B2B.SaaS venture studio High Alpha. Stitch assists companies in using Twilio SendGrid, Twilio’s email service, Twilio Segment and Twilio
Engage.
“Following Twilio’s acquisition of SendGrid and Segment, we began to notice how the platform presents a very unique value to marketers,
enabling them to harness the power of data to understand customers and effectively engage with them across channels,” says Michael Burton, co-founder and CEO of
Stitch.
Burton is joined in Stitch by Ryan McCambridge, co-founder and chief strategy officer, and Bobby Tichy, co-founder and chief solutions
officer.
Previously, Burton was CEO of Lev, a marketing technology services firm acquired by Cognizant in 2020.
It was not clear at deadline whether Stitch will eventually be part of Twilio.
Twilio is “continuously looking for ways to expand our offerings and
help power transformational outcomes for our customers,” states Kevin Harris, Head of Global Business Development & Alliances at Twilio Segment. “As we look toward the future of what
customer engagement means for Twilio, our partnership with Stitch and their focus on marketers will be invaluable.”
Stitch helps marketers use the Twilio platform
through strategy, implementation, data as a service and campaign services.
“As the Twilio platform continues to expand, the opportunity for marketers
is massive,” states Eric Tobias, Partner at High Alpha.
Tobias adds, “we’re thrilled to invest in Stitch as they grow alongside
Twilio.”
