NBCUniversal has hired Maggy Chan as
managing director and executive vice president of global advertising and partnerships, effective Jan. 16.
The announcement follows Friday’s news that longtime NBCUniversal ad sales
president Laura Molen has decided to leave the company at the end of Q1 2023.
Chan succeeds KC Sullivan, who became president of CNBC in August.
Reporting to Linda
Yaccarino, chairman, global advertising and partnerships, NBCU, Chan will be based in the U.K. and work closely with the division’s local and national teams to continue developing One Platform
into a global, unified advertising solution.
Chan, who has 25 years’ experience in entertainment and media, most recently served as chief operating officer, global distribution at
BBC Studios, including channels and streaming, overseeing international content sales, commercialization of World News TV Channel, and advertising sales across WNTV and BBC.com.
